Welcome to the brand spanking NEW blog!

I finally did it! I finally learned how to start a blog, and I a very excited to be posting my first blog entry! I have never blogged before, so bear with me while I hammer out all the kinks!  I’ve been looking foward to being able to start blogging and keeping fans of Kaela Wyles Photography updated on what is going on in my business and life!
First, I want to thank my clients and fans for always being supportive of me! I look forward to creating more gorgeous memories for you for years and years!
For my first blog post, I thought I would share a little bit about my life, so you can get to know a little bit about the girl behind the camera!

I was born and raised in this area, moving between London, St. Thomas and Port Stanley a couple times since I was a kid, and now settling in St. Thomas with my boyfriend and son! I have always loved photography, but never got into it very seriously until my son was born, 6.5 years ago (that is him
< over there :) That was when I bought my first decent camera, and began taking pictures of my little boy everywhere! I taught myself bits and pieces of editing pictures, and eventually upgraded my camera. Over the years, I have upgraded my camera twice, and I currently shoot with a Canon 7D, and a wide array of different lenses for different types of photosessions. I eventually upgraded my software and computers, and I currently edit with the most up to date software. I am mainly a portrait photographer - so I spend a lot of time with families for family pictures, couples for engagements, kids, and expecting Mums and babies. I am known to shoot the occasional wedding as well! We recently moved into our first house (yay!) and I have been working on renovating and finishing what will be my in home studio! I am really excited about it, and I cant wait to have my clients in to see what I have been up to! I am still shooting on location shoots when needed, but it is so exciting to have the studio option again!
